Meals: Light breakfast and healthy, delicious lunch will be provided at the Mastermind for each of the 3 days. Drinks and light bites provided at the Author Debut Event. All other meals and snacks are on your own, including the Happy Hour on Sunday, October 26 and dinner each evening.

Weather-wise, October is one of the best months to visit Houston, and it’s often pleasantly warm with a gentle breeze (in the mid 60s-mid-80s). But expect humidity and a bit of rain.
Aim for pieces that can be layered with a jacket or wrap.
Most of all, I want you to dress up or down however you choose to feel comfortable and be fully present.

There are two airports with service to Houston. It's easy to get an Uber/Lyft or taxi to and from either.

GETTING AROUND
Uber and Lyft drivers are plentiful.
Downtown is safe for walking, although do be watchful.
I don't recommend renting a car because parking can be challenging, nor trying the bus system because it doesn't have a reputation for reliability.

The closest lodging to the event is the Lancaster Hotel. It’s a 1-2 min walk on the same city block as The Square. You don’t even have to cross the street.
Otherwise, most any downtown Houston hotel or AirB&B should be a short Uber/Lyft ride or a brisk walk away. There are a lot of price points and experiences to choose from. If you want to ask me about a location before booking, please do.
